  1. Joey and Leslie met on September 11, 2007.
  2. Joey and Leslie met during the same time Joey started his new job.
  3. Joey and Leslie get excited to go to Comic Con.  Nerds.
  4. Joey cooks better spaghetti.  Leslie cooks everything else better 🙂
  5. Leslie and Joey learned how to code HTML by themselves.
  6. Joey and Leslie don’t know when to celebrate their anniversary.  They can’t wait to get married to have an “official date” to celebrate.
  7. Joey and Leslie call each other Chobi.  It started at Chow King when the lady at the register misheard Joey’s name and interpreted it as “Chobi”.  When their order was ready… the lady called out “Chobi” instead of “Joey”.  It’s been an inside joke since.
  8. Joey and Leslie’s wedding colors were initially yellow and grey… until Leslie changed her mind.  Joey put an end to it after the second change!
  9. Leslie has been celebrating Halloween with Joey every Saturday before Halloween for the last 5 years with a big family and friends party. Watch out for surprises!
  10. Leslie and Joey both wear glasses but Joey doesn’t need to wear it all the time.
  11. Joey and Leslie come from large Filipino families.

Fun Facts About Leslie

  1. When Leslie met Joey, one of the first things she noticed was his cologne. Joey still wears it to this day.
  2. When Leslie was 25, she refused to date anyone older than 28. Joey and Leslie exchanged information 3 days before Joey turned 29. Saved by the bell…
  3. Leslie likes sushi and crabs.
  4. Leslie is allergic to her own dog; but she still loves Cotton.
  5. Leslie named Meeko.
  6. Leslie did not want a dachshund. But is totally in love with Meeko, our long haired dachshund.
  7. It took 5 years for Joey to convince Leslie to try snowboarding. She loves it now.
  8. Leslie recorded every episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 on VHS for the 10 years it was on air.
  9. It takes Leslie a couple extra seconds to understand a joke.
  10. Leslie has her own blog called TooCuteTooPretty.
  11. While at the casino, Leslie considers being up by $5 winning and leaves for the night.
  12. Leslie is only comfortable singing out loud in front of 3rd graders. She can’t carry a tune.
  13. Leslie likes to beat Joey at Tetris.
  14. Leslie prefers soft, fluffy beds that feel like nimbus clouds.
  15. Leslie has a natural blue sapphire engagement ring. Joey’s birthstone is a sapphire which symbolizes faithfulness. Leslie requested a sapphire engagement ring as a reminder that Joey keeps her strong.
  16. Leslie tries to focus on the “Go get it girl!” attitude.
  17. Leslie has been teaching third grade for almost 9 years.
  18. Leslie loves to scrapbook.
  19. Leslie enjoys country music.
  20. Leslie likes to listen to KOST radio station.
  21. Leslie doesn’t like to watch horror movies. Too scary!

  1. Joey and Leslie met during the same time Joey started his new job.

  3. Joey dislikes sushi and crabs.
  4. Joey doesn’t like Cotton. Cotton doesn’t like Joey. Where’s the love?
  5. Joey agreed to the name Meeko only if his full name included “the Beastmaster”.
  6. Joey can use a mouse with his left or right hand.
  7. Joey was born bald and took him longer than the average baby to grow hair. Unfortunately, it didn’t take him as long to lose it as he got older.
  8. Joey used to be into computer programming.
  9. Joey likes spicy foods but sweats easily if it’s too spicy. Totally worth it!
  10. Joey is willing to take shots with anyone, but like Leslie, enjoys girly drinks and doesn’t like beer.
  11. Joey enjoys gambling for fun. Where’s the craps tables!
  12. Joey played football against St. John Bosco during the playoffs while Leslie was rooting for the Bosco Braves. Whoops!
  13. Joey lets Leslie beat him in Tetris because it’s her favorite game.
  14. Joey likes his bed to be as stiff as a wooden plank.
  15. Joey likes to do his own car maintenance.
  16. Joey likes to use his PC to play videogames over any console to date.
  17. Missy was the name of Joey’s first dog. She was a feisty German Shepherd.
  18. Joey often gets compliments about how large his calves are from his friends. He once got a compliment from a guy at a gym that he didn’t even know. What a creeper…
  19. Joey was the grand prize winner on a raffle in 2008 for a free trip to Whistler, British Columbia. It came with various activities like dog sledding and free snow lift tickets.
  20. Joey only likes to listen to KOST during the holiday season.
  21. Joey’s favorite type of movie genre is horror.
